Personal banking

Select Checking Plus is an interest-bearing account with no minimum balance to open or to earn interest on the account, but there is a minimum daily balance requirement to earn interest.

True Advantage Statement Savings is a premium savings account for customers who maintain a banking relationship with Tompkins Trust. Variable interest rates for this account are based on balance tiers. The bank also offers a wide range of CD maturities.

Business banking

Business customers can choose between a variety of checking account options. Business Checking is for growing businesses with moderate transaction volume. This account provides Internet banking and a True Rewards Visa Debit Card.

Analyzed Checking is for large businesses with heavier transaction volumes. Clients of this account receive financial earnings credit to offset their account charges and a monthly account analysis.

Student banking

Tompkins Trust Company offers a variety of products and services for students including Free Student Checking which requires no minimum balance to open or maintain the account. Free True Rewards Visa Debit Card can be used in stores, at ATMs, and for making online purchases; funds are automatically deducted from the customer's checking account. Reward points are earned on purchases with this card.

Deposit insurance

Tompkins Trust Company has been insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation since 1934.

In July 2010, FDIC coverage for eligible deposits was permanently increased from $100,000 to $250,000 per depositor. Joint accounts are insured by FDIC up to at least $250,000 per account holder.
