Third Federal Savings and Loan provides mortgage, savings and investment products in Ohio and Florida.

Third Federal Savings and Loan Association of Cleveland was founded in 1938. It provides investment products, deposit accounts and mortgages from its branch locations in Ohio and Florida, as well as free access to hundreds of AllPoint ATMs.

Mortgages and loans

Third Federal Savings and Loan provides a variety of mortgage and loan products. Smart Rate Adjustable Mortgage offers a Lowest Rate Guarantee and Rate Relock where customers can relock their rate as often as they like.

Low Cost Smart Rate Mortgage offers low cost closing fees. Fixed-rate home mortgages and bridge loans are available. Jumbo Loans are available for 15-year and 30-year terms.

Deposit accounts

Third Federal Savings and Loan offers various savings account products including CDs, retirement CDs, Traditional IRAs and Roth IRAs. Catch-Up accounts are available for qualified individuals age 50 or over. Through this account, qualified individuals are permitted to make catch-up contributions to their IRAs.

The bank's High-Yield Savings Account is a high interest rate savings account. Customers can open this account as either a regular Savings Account or as an IRA account.

An interest-bearing checking account is also available. This account allows more withdrawals than a standard money market account, and is free of monthly fees as long as minimum balances are maintained.

Investment products and services

Investment products and services include 401K rollovers, annuities, mutual funds, tax-deferred savings, mortgage insurance, college planning and retirement planning.

Deposit insurance

Third Federal Savings and Loan Association of Cleveland has been insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation since its opening in 1938.

In July 2010, FDIC coverage for eligible deposits was permanently increased from $100,000 to $250,000 per depositor. Joint accounts are insured by FDIC up to at least $250,000 per account holder.
