The Adirondack Trust Company provides personal banking, business banking, home mortgages, trust and investment services, and insurance services in upstate New York.

The Adirondack Trust Company was established in 1901. It provides personal banking, business banking, home mortgages, trust and investments, and insurance services throughout Saratoga Springs, Albany, and Cambridge, NY. The bank has received the Bauer Financial 5 Star "Superior" Rating.

Personal banking

The Adirondack Trust Company offers a variety of personal savings and checking account choices. ATC Interest Checking (NOW) is an interest-bearing checking account where interest is earned and fees waived for customers maintaining a minimum daily balance and Statement Savings Account offers variable savings account interest compounded and credited monthly.

CDs are available for terms from 7 days to 3 years. Personal Money Market Account is a high-yield savings account earning a variable money market interest rate. Interest is calculated daily, compounded and credited monthly. The bank provides loans for homes, automobiles, personal use and educational expenses.

Business banking

Business account choices are varied. Business Checking offers unlimited check writing privileges, monthly account statements, check images (front and back) via WebWise Online Banking or by mail. Service charges can be reduced or eliminated through compensating balances. Each month an earnings credit allowance based on collected balances less applicable reserves is applied against the cost of services.

Trust, investment and insurance services

The Adirondack Trust Company provides a variety of investment services, including investment management, investment advisory, mutual fund and custody accounts.

Retirement planning ranges from traditional IRAs for individuals to 401(k) plans for businesses. The bank offers trust services for living, testamentary and charitable accounts.

Insurance products and services are provided through Adirondack Trust Insurance.

Deposit insurance

The Adirondack Trust Company has been insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation since 1934.

In July 2010, FDIC coverage for eligible deposits was permanently increased from $100,000 to $250,000 per depositor. Joint accounts are insured by FDIC up to at least $250,000 per account holder.
