Founded in 1999, Stonebridge Bank is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Stonebridge Financial Corp. The bank is primarily an Internet bank but also operates four brick-and-mortar branches in southeastern Pennsylvania.
Personal banking
Personal banking products and services include checking account choices such as the Interest Checking Account. Other accounts include the Premier Money Market Account and traditional or IRA CD accounts with terms from 6 months to 5 years.
Personal banking customers also can apply for personal loans, auto loans, home equity loans and mortgages. Loan applications can be made in person, over the phone or online. Other services include a MasterMoney Check Card, telephone banking, direct deposit and savings overdraft protection. Stonebridge Bank has been insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation since its inception in 1999. In July 2010, FDIC coverage for eligible deposits was permanently increased from $100,000 to $250,000 per depositor. Joint accounts are insured by FDIC up to at least $250,000 per account holder.
