Heritage Bank NA, headquartered in Minnesota, has been recognized for its work with niche groups including military guard members and the agricultural industry.

Heritage Bank NA was established in 1964 and has several branch locations throughout the state. The parent company, Heritage Bancshares Group, is a bank holding company with operations in Minnesota and Iowa. Their banks offers full service banking, insurance, investments and online mortgage processing from four locations in west central Minnesota as well as eight locations in northwest Iowa.

Personal banking

Heritage Bank NA provides several personal checking and savings account options. There are two checking accounts: a basic no-minimum-balance account called Brass Checking and a high interest checking account called eCentive. There are multiple personal savings account options with varying bank savings rates.

Other options include online savings accounts, CD terms ranging from 91 days to 5 years, IRAs, a health savings account and a money market account.

Mobile banking, phone banking and online banking are all available. Other account services include fraud protection and account alerts.

Business banking

Business banking customers can choose from a similar range of products and services. Checking account options include small business, commercial and low activity checking. Savings options include an online savings account, a health savings account and a business money market account. Business services include remote deposit, retirement plans and leasing options.

Credit and loans

Heritage Bank NA offers Visa consumer and business credit cards, Visa gift cards, overdraft protection and home equity lines of credit. Home loans include conventional fixed or adjustable rate loans, construction loans, FHA/VA loans, and regionally applicable MHFA and RD loans. The bank offers vehicle loans, debt consolidation loans and unsecured loans.

Auto, homeowner, farm, and life insurance are available through the bank's affiliate, Pioneer Heritage Insurance.

Awards and recognitions

Heritage Bank NA is an FSA Preferred Lender and has received the "Above and Beyond" Award by the Minnesota Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR).

Deposit insurance

Heritage Bank NA is a member bank of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. The temporary increase in FDIC coverage from $100,000 to $250,000 per depositor was made permanent in July 2010. All eligible deposits are FDIC-insured up to at least $250,000 per depositor. Joint accounts are FDIC-insured up to at least $250,000 per account holder.
