Grand Bank Review

New Jersey-based Grand Bank specializes in business banking products and services but also has similar offers for personal banking customers.

Grand Bank, headquartered in Hamilton, New Jersey, opened its doors in 2002. The bank is adding new branches in the same area. The bank specializes in business banking but offers personal banking products and services as well.

Business banking services

Grand Bank provides business customers with services including free online banking with bill pay and cash management, deposit express (for depositing checks without going to the bank), courier services, night deposits, phone and wire transfers and assistance with collections.

Business banking products

There are four different business checking account choices at this bank: free business checking, interest-bearing checking, a business money market account and an overdraft protected account with an automatic line of credit.

Business customers can earn savings account interest by opening a traditional statement savings account with the bank. Another option is to open a business CD. The minimum CD deposit is $1,000 with a three-month term minimum.

Personal banking

This bank does offer savings and checking account products for personal banking as well. These products are similar to those that are offered to business banking customers with the addition of an IRA.

Business and consumer lending

Grand Bank offers consumer loans, commercial loans and mortgages. Specialty loans include overdraft personal checking loans and letters of credit for businesses to obtain third party loans.

Employee award

The bank's executive vice president and chief risk officer, Linda Niro, received a 2010 award from her alma mater William Paterson University for her work at this bank.
