As a virtual bank that never closes its doors, Giantbank.com offers competitive rates and 24-hour access for personal banking and business banking. Parent bank Landmark Bank. N.A. was established in 1998 and is an FDIC member bank based in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
Personal banking
Checking account options for personal banking customers at Giantbank.com include a personal checking account that earns interest on a tiered level basis. There are no monthly service charges or fees for ATM/debit card usage for this account. Choices for savings include a Giant IRA, a money market account or a CD. Personal banking customers can also take advantage of Giant online bill paying.
Business banking
Small to medium-sized businesses organized and operated in the state of Florida are eligible to apply for a Small Business checking account or a Small Business Plus checking account at Giantbank.com. The Plus account is designed specifically for Florida sole proprietorships and non-profit organizations.
Giantbank.com offers a Business Money Market Deposit Account and a Business CD, both of which enable a business customer to earn a higher interest rate than on a traditional business savings account. Business services include a business ATM card and online bill paying.

Deposit insurance
Giantbank.com's parent Landmark Bank, N.A., is a member bank of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. The temporary increase in FDIC coverage from $100,000 to $250,000 per depositor was made permanent in July 2010. All eligible deposits are FDIC-insured up to at least $250,000 per depositor. Joint accounts are FDIC-insured up to at least $250,000 per account holder.
