Personal banking
Among the personal bank services offered are a variety of checking accounts, including a bonus checking account that offers a high interest rate on high balances, a regular checking account with no minimum balance requirement, and a super NOW account with tiered interest rates. There also is a prime checking account that requires a minimum balance, and a student checking account with no minimum balance.
Savings account choices include regular savings, student savings, health savings accounts, and IRA/SEP accounts. CDs are available for terms ranging from three months to five years. All CDs are available as IRA investments.
Business services
Bank of the Valley provides Small Business Administration loans. The bank offers business checking accounts for agricultural businesses, nonprofit organizations, small businesses, and larger companies. Business checking includes corporate checking accounts, agricultural line of credit accounts, and a no-frills basic account for businesses having a limited number of transactions each month.
Lending services
Customers can also apply for loans for personal use, automobile purchase, or buying or refinancing a home. Commercial and agricultural loans are available for land, equipment and livestock purchases as well as general business operations.
Online banking
Banking customers have the option of receiving their statements online. Bank statements are archived for up to 24 months and can be accessed 24 hours a day. Electing to receive electronic statements may waive some fees on certain accounts.
